In a 75-ton buried-pipe furnace of Henan Coal Chemical Group, the horizontal buried-pipe was worn seriously on the windward side. The heat exchange rate affected by the protective tiles used before was about 10% - 20%, and the protective tiles were easy to fall off, which required frequent stopping and repairing welding. In July 2015, some laser cladding buried pipes were installed at the bottom of the furnace. After three years of operation, the cladding layer has hardly changed and the heat exchange rate has been significantly increased.
